Kaci Bowman joined Turley, Swan, Childers & Torrens, P.C. in 2009 after practicing for over four years with a long-standing civil litigation firm. Ms. Bowman’s practice focuses primarily in the area of insurance defense. As such, Ms. Bowman has extensive experience representing both insurance companies and their insureds in construction defect, personal injury, product liability, and insurance bad faith matters. Ms. Bowman has successfully defended clients in mediation, arbitration and trial.
Ms. Bowman graduated magna cum laude from Washington State University in 2001. While in law school, Ms. Bowman served as an Associate Editor on the Oregon Law Review and received the Maxine Lee Award for Editorial Excellence. In addition, Ms. Bowman had the opportunity to act as an extern to the Honorable Edward F. Shea of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. Ms. Bowman also gained valuable experience as a litigator through her participation in the University of Oregon’s Prosecution Clinic where she had the opportunity to try misdemeanor cases in Lane County Circuit Court. Ms. Bowman also had the opportunity to study abroad in London England with the Notre Dame School of Law during the summer of 2002.
